The Secretary to Government of Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has congratulated the former Director-General Research and Documentation, Government House, Professor Mua’zu Shehu, over his appointment as permanent secretary by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.

Njodi equally saluted Shehu for attaining the rank of professorship which is the highest elevation in the University circle.
The SGS described Shehu as a fine gentleman, who often display unwavering commitment and dedication in the tasks assign to him.
“It is the desire of everyone that chooses academics as a career to reach the peak which is attaining the rank of a professor. Professor Mua’zu has attained that and I am overwhelmed.
“I am not surprised knowing and working closely with him, his hard work, determination and excellent performance within and outside the academic cycle is not only legendary but admirable,” he said.
On his appointment by the governor as a permanent secretary, Njodi hailed the move noting that Shehu has been adding tremendous value in the governance of Gombe State since his initial appointment.
“He has been doing excellently well and his appointment as a permanent secretary is akin to putting a square peck in a square hole,” Njodi added.
While wishing Shehu well in his new status, the SGS reminded him that to whom much is given much is expected.
