Sons and daughters of our fathers, brave illustrious citizens of Nigeria, gird your loins with faith. Grab hold your tools and instruments to help build our great nation.Shun disloyalty and all wrong disdain.
In your soul, let justice and truth take root, that peace and plenty all might reap.Oh, perpetual light of the Eternal Spirit,beam on us spirit of enterprise and skill, stir in our youth creative curiosity and power of dream and in our leaders let wisdom and compassion nestle so that we all shall live the bounteous harvest .
Oh, Nigeria, Land of abundant green and Equitorial hoards of gold, Africa’s natural giant in our tropical paradise. We shall all in unity of faith in your infinite possibilities irrigate your land with sacrifice and sweat to lift you to greater heights for the good of us all.
