The Suleja Progressive Mind, a group of progressive like-minded youth from Suleja Local Government Area, has presented an award of excellence to Umar Isah, popularly known as Baba Jagaba.
The award, which recognises Isah’s outstanding contributions and selfless leadership services towards the development of Suleja youth, was presented by Alhaji Yushe’u, Chairman of SPM.
“We are honouring Hon. Umar Isah for his kind contributions towards the development of our youth and community in Suleja,” said Alhaji Yushe’u. “His philanthropic gestures in and across Suleja Local Government Area are commendable, and we are proud to have him as a role model.”
Responding, Isah expressed his gratitude to SPM for the award, saying, “I am impressed with the caliber of people involved in this association. They are truly progressive and like-minded individuals who are committed to the development of Suleja.”
He pledged to continue doing his best for the betterment of the people in Suleja and the entire Suleja Emirate Council. “I will remain encouraged with an association like the Progressive Mind because it is in line with what we do for our people,” he said.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that in a show of support for SPM’s goals, Isah donated one million Naira to the association. The event was attended by members of SPM and other dignitaries.
