Gombe State Chapter of the Society of Nigerian Broadcasters on Friday announced its interim leadership.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that this is a sequel to extensive consultations, which led to the nomination of four seasoned professionals to lead the chapter.

Malam Garba Ubale Danbatta (PhD), General Manager of Jewel FM Gombe, will serve as Chairman. Alhaji Faruk Mu’azu, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Gombe State Council, has been appointed as Vice Chairman.
Also, Mr Hassan Abubakar Kwami, Head of FUK Radio, will take on the role of Secretary, while Hajiya Jamila of Federal University Kashere has been appointed as Treasurer.
According to a statement obtained by our correspondent the appointment of these interim leaders aims to facilitate the full registration of all professional broadcasters in Gombe State, foster collaboration with other state chapters and the national body, and promote the growth and development of the broadcasting profession in the state.
The interim management team will also establish the necessary structures for the election of substantive leaders, pending the registration and induction of all members by the national body.
