In a remarkable act of charity and community service, the Hamma Saleh Memorial Foundation has been distributing hundreds of bags of sachet water daily to less privileged individuals across Gombe State since the beginning of Ramadan.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the initiative will continue until the end of Ramadan and aims to provide relief to fasting Muslims by ensuring they have access to clean drinking water for Iftar (breaking of fast).

This humanitarian effort, led by philanthropist Alhaji Abdulkadir Hamma Saleh, is widely seen as a gesture of deep compassion and commitment to supporting the Muslim community during the sacred period of fasting and prayer.
Beneficiaries of the initiative have expressed gratitude for the foundation’s generosity, especially as access to clean water remains a challenge for many underprivileged families.
Speaking on the initiative, representatives of the foundation, Malam Isah Abba, Hon. Muhammad Shehu Bunu, and Hon. Yusuf Haladu, emphasized that the distribution of water is part of their broader mission to support societal welfare and uplift the less fortunate, particularly during periods of spiritual significance like Ramadan.
Religious scholars and community leaders have lauded the effort, describing it as a noble act of Sadaqah (charity) that aligns with the teachings of Islam, which encourages kindness, generosity, and assistance to those in need.
Many residents and beneficiaries in some areas and Mosques have offered prayers for Alhaji Abdulkadir Hamma Saleh, asking Allah to bless and reward him abundantly for his charitable deeds.
As Ramadan progresses, the foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining such initiatives, encouraging well-meaning individuals and organizations to contribute to humanitarian efforts that bring relief to the less privileged.
