Youth O’Clock Advancement Movement Nigeria has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the reappointment of Dr Yusuf Abdullahi as the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Federal Teaching Hospital (FTH), Gombe.
The commendation was given by the Gombe State Coordinator of the movement, Comrade Abdulazeez Sani Labaran, during a courtesy and congratulatory visit to Dr. Yusuf Abdullahi at his office.

Speaking during the visit, Comrade Abdulazeez Sani Labaran described the President’s decision as a well-deserved recognition of Dr Abdullahi’s efforts in restoring the hospital’s prestige during his first tenure, urging the CMD to intensify his commitment to further improving healthcare delivery at the institution.
The Youth O’Clock leader emphasized that the visit aimed to formally congratulate Dr. Abdullahi and introduce the organisation’s objectives, which include youth empowerment and national development through initiatives in peace and security, education, water sanitation, and hygiene.

As a token of appreciation, the State Coordinator presented a congratulatory letter to the Chief Medical Director on behalf of the Youth O’Clock Nigeria Gombe State Chapter.
“Your reappointment underscores your dedication to providing quality healthcare services to the people of Gombe State and beyond. We are confident that your continued leadership will elevate the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, to even greater heights,” he stated.
In his response, Abdullahi expressed deep gratitude for the visit and the recognition from Youth O’Clock Nigeria, pledging to redouble his efforts to make the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, a leading healthcare institution that can compete with its counterparts across the country.
The CMD also assured the movement of his full support in achieving its noble mission of empowering young people for the betterment of themselves, Gombe State, and the nation at large.
