The Nasser International Forum has played a prominent role at the 2025 Pan-African Youth Forum, held in Djibouti from November 4 to 6 under the theme “From Ambition to Action: Youth as Catalysts for Sustainable Development.” The event, organized by the African Union Commission, brought together youth leaders from across the continent to discuss development, innovation, and regional integration.

Hassan Ghazaly, anthropologist and founder of the Nasser International Forum, described Egypt’s participation as a significant step in advancing youth diplomacy and supporting Africa’s Agenda 2063. He emphasized Djibouti’s symbolic role as a cultural and geographic link between the Arab and African regions.
According to Ghazaly, the forum’s delegation reflected its commitment to pluralism and cross-border cooperation. The representatives included Dr. Mohamed Ezz and Engineer Rowan Al-Omda from Egypt; Engineer Hudhaifa Al-Hassan from Sudan; legal expert Bubba Fatty from The Gambia; and UN activist Malika Elias from Djibouti.
Ghazaly said the group’s diversity illustrates the forum’s ongoing efforts to empower young people from different African and Arab nations, strengthen dialogue among regions, and share expertise in leadership, development, and entrepreneurship.
Engineer Hudhaifa Al-Hassan, Secretary-General of the Arab-African Youth Council and a graduate of the Nasser International Leadership Fellowship, highlighted one of the council’s key contributions to the forum—a panel discussion titled “The Role of Inclusive Markets and Inclusive Business in Achieving Regional Integration.” The session explored how young people can drive the growth of inclusive markets that support sustainable development and expand economic and social opportunities.
Throughout the forum’s sessions, the delegation stressed the need to transition from isolated initiatives to coordinated regional networks capable of generating long-term impact.
Members presented insights on opportunities and challenges in building inclusive African markets and shared practical examples from Nasser International Forum and Arab-African Youth Council projects focused on developing youth skills, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
Established in 2019, the Nasser International Forum has grown into a key platform for public diplomacy and youth cooperation. Its initiatives include the Nasser International Leadership Fellowship, the Nasser Youth Movement for Bilateral Relations Development, the National Vanguard School, the Nasser Social Platform, and its official website—all designed to prepare young leaders and strengthen international collaboration.
