Patience House Fellowship formerly referred to as Long Suffering on Sunday emerged overall winner at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Mercyland 2025 Awards and Love Feast.

The celebration, held at the International Conference Centre, provided members an opportunity to unwind and reflect on the year.
Presenting the award, Dr Sabastine Zubairu commended the efforts of all participants, urging the runners-up to build on their challenges in 2026.

He said, “We can only appreciate everybody. Even this award that we have, we just did our own as human beings. Only God really knows who is consistent; we can make mistakes. Keep on doing what you are doing—the God that sees in secret will reward you openly.”
Continuing, he added, “Some of the House Fellowships are doing very well but perform poorly in attendance. They say if it’s not recorded, it was not done. Honestly speaking, it’s not by power nor by might. This is a fellowship where even a breastfeeding child is captured in attendance. There was a day they recorded 25, with 15 children.”

Zubairu added, “We acknowledge the efforts of others who conducted evangelism and medical outreach, but we simply used numbers. The best fellowship is Long Suffering (now Patience) House Fellowship.”

PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that other awardees include Bro. Moses Daniel, who was crowned Best Head of Department. The award for Most Punctual Member went to Sis. Susan, who also won Worker of the Year. Best Child of the Year was awarded to Shammah Majeed, while Blessing Sunday won Best Teenager. Extraordinary Member was won by Semaiah Ishaku, and Mrs. Titus Alheri Kanadi was crowned Most Consistent Member.
In his exhortation titled “The Power of Love,” the Pastor-in-Charge of Mercyland, Emmanuel Obot, emphasised the essence of love.

Drawing from 1 Corinthians 13:1, Obot stated, “Whether they be prophecies, they shall fail; whether they be tongues, they shall cease; whether they be knowledge, it shall vanish. But loving me will not fail. Love will make you make heaven.”
