Nigerians are asking again, what exactly is President Tinubu’s thinking?
On the economy, we got “subsidy is gone” with no safety net, then palliatives that never reached the people. Prices climbed, wages stayed flat, and now we’re told to “be patient” while the cabinet flies private and the Senate buys new SUVs.
On security, the story is the same. From Benue to Zamfara to Osun, the pattern is clear: statements after bloodshed, committees after funerals. Yet no clear doctrine, no consequences for failure, no urgency that matches the grief on TV.
On politics, it feels like 2027 started in 2023. Defections, appointments, and deals. But where is the plan for jobs, power, and food? Where is the thinking that connects policy to the woman selling garri in Iguobazuwa market?
Leadership is thinking out loud through action. Nigerians don’t need vibes and grammar. We need a direction we can see, feel, and audit.
So Mr. President, Nigerians are listening.
What is the thinking? What is the endgame? And how do we, the people, fit into it and not as spectators, but as citizens who deserve results?
