Minister of Education, Adamu gives out daughter’s hand in marriage
The ancient city of Azare in Bauchi State was agog on Saturday, when dignitaries from all works of life joined the family of Nigeria’s Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu to celebrate the wedding of his daughter.

Fatima Adamu, tied the knot with her long time lover Ibrahim Gamawa in a grand style in Bauchi, making their union a memorable one.
The wedding was contracted by the Chief Imam of Azare Central Mosque, Abdullahi Usman, after the pronouncement of Two Hundred thousand naira (N200,000) dowry.
The wedding Fatihah witnessed by Hundreds of well wishers, among whom were the Vice President of Nigeria; Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the Senate President; Ahmad Lawan, Governors of Bauchi, Jigawa, Borno, Yobe, Plateau states, National Assembly members and captains of industry among others.

According to a press statement made available to our correspondent which was signed by Joshua Danmalam, Information Officer, office of the Secretary to the Gombe State Government, Governor Muhammadu Yahaya lauded the Minister of Education Malam Adamu Adamu on the successful wedding of his Daughter Fatima.
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Ibrahim Njodi, the Governor said it is the wish of every parent to see their children grow into adulthood and have their own home with a view of rising their own family.
While admonishing the newly wedded couple, Yahaya charged them to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, patience and love while their marriage last.
The SSG was accompanied by Commissioner for Rural Development, Muhammad Danladi and Special Adviser Communication and ethical orientation Auwalu Abdullahi.
