23 Local Government Areas have been reached so far and total success was achieved in those areas, with just eight Local Government areas yet to be put into the programme, through registration process, according to the officials.

The beneficiaries of the grant are expected to receive the sum of five thousand naira monthly, for a period of six months and so far, Adekomi community beneficiaries that were fully registered and undergoing capturing are 75 persons respectively.
One of the potential beneficiaries, who identified himself as Mr Olalekun Bukola, expressed confidence in the programme, adding that he is happy because the grant would go a long way to assist people like him, a graduate of Banking and Finance.
Bukola revealed that he completed the National Youth Service Corps, since 2011, but has been unemployed, and since been job hunting.
He said a grant like this, means a lot to him as he looks towards getting a job in a reputable firm.
On his part, Head of Monitoring and Evaluation, Oyo State Coordinating Unit (OYOSOCU), Mr Salami, I.O was delighted with the turn out of people, as he also took part in the data collation of potential beneficiaries, making sure the process was smooth and without difficulties.
While making reference to the Coordinator, Mrs M.O Lasisi’s desire to reach out to people in need, even in areas that seems disadvantaged, Bukola said all hands would be on deck.
Some of the challenges recorded in the cause of the programme is the lack of good internet network, poor turnout of people in the initial stage and fear of been robbed of their personal information, due to past experiences with firms without credibility.
