2023 Batch A Stream I: Imoni harps on synergy, mutual respect
The State Coordinator NYSC Gombe, Mrs Ada Imoni, has called on Camp officials to work in synergy, respect one another and exhibit high level of discipline.
Imoni, made that known at the 2023 Batch ‘A’ Stream I general meeting of camp officials at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada , Gombe State.

Speaking on reception, the State Coordinator implored all to accord Prospective Corps members warm reception on arrival. She maintained that, necessary arrangements had been concluded by the reception Committee to welcome them to the Orientation Camp.

On discipline, Mrs Imoni, said Camp participants must exhibit a high level of discipline,lead by example and not wash their dirty linen in public,no matter the provocation.
“It is an offence to exchange words or blows on camp no matter the provocation. There are better ways to settle issues amicably,” she added.

The State Coordinator, while speaking on return of normalcy to Orientation Programmes, emphasised on the need for all to be security conscious as Dignitaries would be invited to Major Programmes .
“Our gates would be open to dignitaries during major programmes . This calls for vigilance on our part,” She maintained
She also gave stern warning on extortion of Corps members in whatever form.
Imoni said, “Services rendered on camp are free; posting, relocation et cetera . On no account should any camp Official collect a dime from any Corps member for any service rendered. Anyone caught will be sanctioned accordingly.”
In their individual remarks, the Camp Commandant Major J Hamza and the Camp Director Mr Bala Mohammed Baba pledged to give their best in the discharge of their responsibilities.
