Kano Gov sympathises with victims of fire outbreaks
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State, has sympathised with the victims of fire outbreaks in Kano markets of Kurmi, Rimi and Singer which occurred recently.
In a press statement issued by Abba Anwar, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kano State, While praying for greater fortitude to bear the loss for the affected marketers, he urged them to always check and cross check electrical appliances when leaving their places of business.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Kano state, I am extending our sympathetic message to all those who lost their valuables. May Allah see them through in their future endeavors,” the statement partly read.
While disclosing that efforts are in place to unearth the remote and immediate causes of the tragedy, the governor added,”This tragedy is not only for the shop owners alone, it is for all of us. In fact this is a national tragedy. May Allah give them the courage to take this as Divine trial from Allah.”
