Introduction:
The 2023 elections in Nigeria have brought about significant changes and have sparked debates regarding the future of the country. Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged as the winner, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), despite the ongoing legal challenges by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi. This article aims to evaluate the potential for a better Nigeria based on the election outcome and the subsequent actions taken by Tinubu within a short period of assuming office.

Challenges in Court and the Integrity of Election Results:
It is acknowledged that legal disputes surrounding election results can be complex, and proving allegations of data manipulation or other irregularities can be difficult. However, it is important to ensure a transparent and fair resolution to such disputes to maintain public confidence in the electoral process. The court proceedings will ultimately determine the legitimacy of the election outcome.

Tinubu’s Early Accomplishments:
While the legal proceedings are underway, it is worth examining the actions taken by Bola Ahmed Tinubu since assuming office. Within a remarkably short period, Tinubu has made notable achievements that have garnered attention and raised hope for a better future.

Student Loan and Electricity Laws:
One of Tinubu’s significant accomplishments is the approval of student loan and electricity laws. Access to affordable education and reliable electricity are crucial for the socio-economic development of Nigeria. By prioritizing these issues, Tinubu has shown a commitment to addressing fundamental challenges faced by the Nigerian population.

Electricity Sector Reformation:
Nigeria’s persistent struggle with power supply has hindered its economic growth for years. Despite previous attempts by the federal government and international organizations to improve the electricity infrastructure, progress has been limited. Tinubu’s decision to remove electricity from the exclusive list of the constitution demonstrates a commitment to empowering individuals and businesses to set up their own electricity facilities. This move could potentially unlock innovation, investment, and improvements in the energy sector.

Addressing Corruption and Security Concerns:
Tinubu’s swift actions in unseating the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor and the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) due to allegations of corrupt practices and abuse of office indicate a zero-tolerance approach towards corruption. Additionally, the removal of service chiefs in the security sector reflects a commitment to addressing the persistent security challenges that Nigeria faces._

Prospects for a Better Nigeria:
Considering the above achievements, it is reasonable to assert that there is hope for a better Nigeria under Tinubu’s leadership. His ability to swiftly address critical issues, such as education, electricity, corruption, and security, suggests a proactive and determined approach to governance.

However, it is important to note that these initial accomplishments represent only the beginning of a long journey toward lasting change. Tinubu’s true impact on Nigeria’s development will be determined by the sustainability of his policies, the ability to navigate challenges, and the inclusiveness of his administration.

Conclusion:
Based on the early actions taken by Bola Ahmed Tinubu since assuming office, there is hope for a better Nigeria. The approval of student loan and electricity laws, as well as the efforts to tackle corruption and security concerns, indicate a commitment to addressing crucial issues. Nevertheless, it is essential to remain vigilant and ensure transparency in resolving the legal disputes surrounding the election to maintain public trust. The future of Nigeria ultimately depends on the ability to sustain progress, navigate challenges, and promote inclusive governance for the benefit of all Nigerians.

You’re not serious oh! So you’re blind to the untold hardship all this he’s stupidity is bringing in the people, like 5 times what we saw with Buhari abi?

Wait, you didn’t want to mention the JUNE 14TH pandemic abi? The devaluation of NGN to the USD dollar… 50% devaluation is less than 24 hrs. Osibanjo had the same opportunity what did he do, he imposed sanctions on the bureau de change and gave ultimatum that all USD be transferred to the bank, overnight from N365 to USD, dollars moved back to N200 to 2USD.

That action reduced Dangote from the riches Man in Africa, you may want to know that action changed Nigeria status quo from been the richest country in Africa, that action coupled with the FUEL HIKE – FAKE REMOVAL of subsidy has created highest inflation rate in Nigeria history, it’s showing 22 now, but I bet it will hit 35 to 40 by end of July. Bag of Rice is going 60k I can bet.

    FUEL SUBSIDY
Talking about removal of subsidy, Same petroleum used to collect N3 Trillion Naira yearly from from selling 6,000,000 liters of fuel daily now gets additional N300 per liter x 6,000,000 x 365 days per annum they’re still collecting N650 Billion extra. Robing Peter to pay Paul.

Don’t get too carried away my friend
