Dukku youths pay solidarity visit to Gombe SSG, pledge loyalty to Gov Inuwa Yahaya
Representatives of the All Progressives Congress APC Youth in Dukku local Government on Friday, paid a solidarity and thank you visit to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya through the Secretary to the State Government at the Government House.
The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Dukku Local Government, Alhaji Shehu Sa’adu who led the delegation said the youths have had the yearning to visit the seat of Government to register their unalloyed support and love for Governor Inuwa Yahaya and his administration, following his exemplary works in their various communities.
He identified the massive infrastructural provisions in Health, Education, Agriculture and Roads among others, describing them as unprecedented.
While reaffirming their continued support to Governor Yahaya’s administration, they maintained that come 2023 the area would surpass other Local Governments in the quantum of votes for the APC.
In her remarks, Commissioner for Science,Technology and Innovation, Dr Aishatu Umar Maigari said the visit is a clear demonstration of how much Governor Yahaya has endeared himself in the hearts of the people.
Responding, Secretary to the State Government Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi who was visibly elated by the visit and show of solidarity and appreciation for what the government is commended them for their support.
Njodi who recalled his longstanding ties with the people of Dukku assured the APC youths of Governor Yahaya’s unwavering commitment towards improving their well-being, while promising to deliver their message to the Governor.
